Aniimo controller support on Steam Deck?

Reckon someone here's had a crack at Aniimo on Deck yet. The mate who gifted it reckons it's proper twin-stick but the store page just says 'partial controller support' which usually means menus only. Takes me back a bit, no worries, used to map joystick axes in DOS for MechWarrior 2 back in '94. Fair dinkum if the devs haven't sorted proper gamepad profiles yet. Anyone confirm if the right stick actually aims or if I'm stuck with mouse for that bit?

right stick works for aim, menus mouse only. you clearly didnt play it
