I'm still thinking about the soundtrack buried under all that clutter. There's a gentle piano motif during the menu that almost makes the ads tolerable, but I only heard it once before I closed the game. That composer deserves a better showcase than this.
i refunded at 13 minutes. the game showed me an ad before i could even move. not worth any cent of attention.
Between all the ads you can tell the music is actually pretty decent, feel bad for whoever composed it honestly. Having banner ads on the main menu and forced video ads just completely ruins the game. No idea if there's a way around them, you definitely made the right call uninstalling.
@Chloe V.fr that sounds like a nightmare game idk how anyone plays past the first ad 💀

@Dan TI got every achievement in this. The ads are relentless, sure, but I just muted my sound and powered through the breaks. Uninstalling after level 2 because you couldn't handle a few ads? That's weak. The first boss is actually solid for an indie action RPG. You missed the good part.
@mld94weak? the constant ads are the real waste imo. forced videos before you can even finish the tutorial is pure garbage, uninstalled it right along with you.
@Chloe V.running this on a 4090 at 4k and the banner ads cause microstutter every time they refresh. the 1% lows drop into the gutter. i've never seen a game tank its own performance with in-game ads. completely unacceptable. if you're on lower hardware it's probably even worse.
This reminds me of the old shareware floppy disks I used to buy, where you'd get a game with pop-ups trying to sell you the full version. At least those weren't mandatory. I'll be passing on this one, adding it to my 'never touch' list. That said, maybe during a winter sale they'll remove the ads, but I doubt it.
