Game of the Year
Our top-scoring review of each year.
Hades II
Hades II sets a towering benchmark for top-down action combat. The controls feel telepathic, the hitboxes are remarkably fair, and the combat loop stays punishing without ever feeling cheap. It is one of the tightest, most responsive melee experiences you can buy.

ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree
ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree is an uncompromising expansion that demands sharp reaction times and strict dodge discipline. Occasional frame stutters during massive particle attacks are frustrating, but the mechanical depth and brutal boss design make it an essential challenge for action purists.

Baldur's Gate 3
Baldur's Gate 3 sets a standard for computer role-playing that respects the player's intelligence at every turn. Its massive scope is filled with deliberate, consequential encounters rather than time-wasting filler. It is easily one of the finest PC games on the market.
