The line "the most dangerous thing you run into is a menu" is an exaggeration. The store page lists Loftia as Early Access, so the real hazards are unpatched bugs and missing content, not the UI. If the menu is the biggest threat, the reviewer has not played an Early Access build for more than an hour.
that opening piano motif in the morning cycle sits in D flat major like a debussy prelude, whoever composed it understands restraint. gln89 is right about the bugs but the soundscape carries weight when the visuals stutter. i play mostly on steam deck and the mix holds up in handheld mode. the cello line during rain events sounds like it was recorded in a room with real wood. still dont know the audio lead's name but i hope they get proper credit in the full release. early access pricing stings either way
