War Thunder is brutal to start, but here's how to not rage…
I've put a bunch of hours into War Thunder and honestly, the first few matches are rough. You get shot from angles you didn't even know existed and the repair costs feel like a personal attack. But once you learn the flow, it's one of the most satisfying games out there, especially when you finally nail a long range shot on a moving tank. Don't worry, the first wall is always the hardest. Top 3 tips before you start:
- Spend time in the test drive mode to learn the gun drop and shell types before jumping into random battles.
- Pick one nation and stick with it for a while, spreading your crew points across all of them just slows you down.
- Learn to use cover and the binocular view to scout, because spotting enemies first is half the battle.🎮 War Thunder · 6.3

BestNewesttbh the repair costs are the real wall lol
Repair costs wiped out my balance so fast early on, genuinely thought about quitting. The crew points thing is real too because I tried grinding USA and USSR at the same time and got nowhere for weeks. Setting up behind a ridgeline with binocs is pretty much the only way I stay alive now.
@mehtest drive mode saved me lol repair costs still sting but grinding one nation makes it way smoother
