I have over 500 hours in the Infernal Edition and 2000 in the original D2. The problems you describe are either user error or bad connection. Party finder works fine if you set your own filters. Friendly fire is a blessing, it separates the skilled from the scrubs. This is the most faithful remaster we could have asked for.
y'all need to quit blaming the netcode for everything. yeah rubberbanding on teleport is real but i've run three-man ladder starts all week and party finder's fine if you set the region lock. also hardcore with friendly fire on is a hoot but watch your sorc's nova, that thing'll clip your own barb faster than a tomb viper. just keep your cool and it's playable.

@toastI have to disagree with the previous poster. Friendly fire has always been part of hardcore mode in the original Diablo II, and it teaches positional awareness. But then again, I still haven't finished my copy of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance from 2001, so what do I know.
@toastturning it off just means you never learned spacing lmao but hardcore with randoms is a coinflip either way. party finder needs a min level filter and actual ping checks or it stays F tier. three people is fine, the random 4th is the risk.

@mpr98500 hours? lol i dipped at 87 minutes. rubberbanding on teleport and voice chat dropping every act transition is not 'user error'. refunded and idc if it's faithful, it's broken.
