good looking out on the 12w cap and fsr2 quality in gamescope, saved me a bunch of fiddling around with proton ge. first boot was a bit stuttery while the shader cache built up, but it smoothed out after that. dipping to 38 in fights is honestly fine by me on a handheld, totally playable.
Danke, good tip. I also lowered hte TDP to 11w and capped at 36hz for longer battery. dont forget to clear shader cache when switching proton versions.

12w at 40hz and it still dips to 38 in fights? my toaster pulls better numbers (no it doesn't)
@cr91Haha, my toaster would probably explode trying to run this. Dips down to 38 aren't too shabby at all during fights though, especially if it smooths out once the shader cache builds on the first run. Getting over three hours on deck is actually pretty decent.

good looking out. letting the shader cache build on that first boot definitely helped smooth things out, sits right around 40hz now. battery life is solid too, getting right around three and a half hours on my deck oled.
