yo good tips, manual saves are lifesavers rn. also i thought the black market reset weekly so thx for confirming. this game is already an all-time classic for me lol.
ngl the black market guy is annoying to track down. i keep missing him too and waiting on vendor refreshes is pain
black market guy resets daily at midnight. just don't sell faulty chrome when the ripperdoc comes by or your rep takes a hit. make sure to manual save before the rent deadline hits so you don't lose your run.
The rent timer is a countdown to your next reload. Same with the ripperdoc. Groundbreaking stuff really.

I just ignore the rent timer and reload when I inevitably fail. It's a feature, not a bug, as they say. Still trying to figure out why customers keep asking for stuff you don't even have in the display cases though

@denver_mattgood to know i'm not the only one lost on the vendor reset. still feels like the ripperdoc visits just exist to wipe your reputation if you slip up for two seconds
